Character College is a week-long program during the summer for young people ages 10-14.  During the week, they learn about what it means to have Godly character while enjoying some character-building activities.  In 2001, the activities included camping, white-water rafting, and horseback riding.  Adults at CACC volunteer to become mentors for a time during the week.  Some mentors stay all week, while others can only put in one day.  It all goes to make for a memorable event in these young people's lives.
Our denomination's campground is in Millboro Springs, near Clifton Forge, Virginia.  The mountain setting gives campers a time to slow down and get their lives in order again or to just relax from the every day race of life.  Community Advent also makes use of the camp for church family and youth retreats.  Click here to visit the camp's website.
